Blue Voyages
Turkey's Mediterranean coast, aptly named the
Turquoise coast for its green forests and blue sea, provides wonderful
coastal scenery and there is no better way to explore it than by boat. An
Airtour Blue Voyage on a traditional Turkish gulet, a motorised sailing
schooner, is an experience to remember a real get-away-from-it-all holiday
of sun, swimming and the simple pleasures of life.
Each gulet is fully equipped for small groups with double cabins, showers, toilet and kitchen. The skilled crew do the sailing and prepare delicious meals of fresh-caught seafood.
Typically, a Blue Voyage lasts for one week, with daytime sailings and night-times spent at anchor in splendid coastal seclusion or near a coastal resort with a lively night-life.
Blue Voyages are operated on a scheduled basis in season departing from Bodrum, Marmaris and Antalya. Airtour also arranges yacht charters (including bare-boat charters).
Cruise Ship Services
In partnership with cruise ship companies, we
also organise city tours, day excursions and special entertainment evenings
for cruise ship passengers visiting Turkish ports, such as Istanbul, Mudanya,
Dikili, Izmir, Kusadasi, Bodrum, Marmaris, Antalya and Mersin.
Special Activities
Airtour organises special activity programmes
and speciality holidays. We offer rafting on some of Turkeys untamed rivers,
trekking holidays, steam train and jeep tours, and Turkish bath sessions
which can extend into a full dinner with a belly dancer for entertainment in
the evening. Other special evening entertainments we offer include a floating
night-club on Istanbul's beautiful Bosphorus waterway and Turkish evenings
with excellent Turkish cuisine, musicians and belly dancers.
